Coach Education: training and experiential learning for managers and leaders who want to excel with high performance coaching
PROtential Coaching has developed a range of experiential practical courses for those who wish to learn and develop their own coaching skills. Our courses will cater for all levels of experience and competence and can be tailored to match your objectives and outcomes.
Whether you are a leader, a manager or an internal coach wishing to utilise your coaching skills more effectively at work, our programme will certainly stretch thinking and learning and allow a safe environment for practice and reflection.
This can be tailored to budget, numbers, ways of working and preference.
Some of our options are:
1 day Group Workshop
For those who are wishing to introduce coaching skills into the organisation, for newly appointed managers and team leaders.
Covering the basic principles of coaching, during the workshop you will:
- Explore the underpinning principles of coaching, the benefits and key differences to mentoring/counselling.
- Explore effective questioning, agreeing objectives to sustain high performance, effective listening and obstacles to coaching
- Trio coaching within the group with feedback from a highly experienced accredited coach.
- A certificate will be issued covering the basic principles of coaching.
2 day Group workshop with action-based learning in the workplace
Total duration of programme: 3 months
If you are looking to improve coaching skills through practical development the 2 day workshop is a good starting point.
Covering in detail the under-pinning principles of coaching. During the workshop you will:
- Explore in detail related topics such as: motivational factors, values & beliefs, maintaining performance and identifying potential, the use of insightful questions, active listening and understanding, the importance of feed-back, the need for feed-forward and much more.
- Practice coaching one-one and receive feed-back from the course leader, a highly experienced coach.
- Participate in trio-coaching sessions and group feed-back.
- Following the workshop you will embark on conducting practice coaching sessions to capture and embed learning and insights taken from the 2-day workshop. A journal and coaching log will be collated. Full tutor support is given through-out the three month period.
PROtential Coaching are currently pursuing this coach training programme to be endorsed and approved by the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM)
