Effective Leadership |
| |
Martin Johnson, former captain (and now coach) of the England rugby team, describes two types of communication as "big talk" and "little talk" Little talk as he puts it makes the big talk happen. This means giving direction and encouragement, but also reassurance and praise. Often, the biggest sapper of morale in an organisation is the absence of a "thank you" or "well done" from senior management. It sounds simple but communication is a complicated beast. Modern leadership is all about persuasion, and the means is not enought to tell your people to do something - they must have faith in you as a leader if they are going to follow. Procurement Academy available now |
| |
The PROtential Procurement Academy is run by Procurement Specialists with more than 60 years combined experience in all aspects of procurement. Whatever your goals we have the capability in place to help you achieve them.
Most Procurement Training and Consulting companies will provide the technical know-how to help you deliver tangible commercial benefits through enhanced processes and/or organisational change. PROtential recognises that this is a key deliverable and will tailor training and consulting programmes to that effect.
However we recognise that if you have a fully motivated team of professionals, each of whom is performing optimally, then you will achieve so much more and will keep doing so over a sustained period.
Therefore we believe that the PROtential Procurement Academy is unique in offering the following combined programme: not only can we undertake to deliver the “standard” procurement training and consultancy, we are also able to offer a coaching program |
