» Sarah Urquhart Biography

Sarah has been coaching executives and teams for over 10 years.  She works with senior individuals and teams in industries as diverse as fmcg, pharmaceuticals, property management, the NHS, manufacturing and financial services across Europe and the USA. Her expert communication skills enable her to facilitate people to quickly identify the routes forward to improved decision making, clarity and performance as leaders.
Her recent coaching engagements have included:

• Coaching the Leadership Team in a drinks manufacturer to help them demonstrate their leadership in a more visible manner, following feedback from an employee engagement survey
• Coaching a specialist advisory team within a pharmaceutical giant on presentation and questioning skills to maximize their impact on client visits
• Coaching the European Sales Director of a specialist sporting goods manufacturer and distributor to lead her team in the expansion of their business
• Coaching the Business Director of the UK largest private property company
• Coaching the Chief Executive of a National Charity
• Coaching a senior manager within the NHS to create a team environment within a “damaged” team

Sarah has a multitude of skills and knowledge to support her in her facilitation work.  She has a post-graduate qualification in Psychology, is an NLP Trainer, an Accredited Executive Coach and has a Business Degree and Post-Graduate Marketing qualification.  She is also accredited to use several psychometric evaluation tools including MBTI, Insights, CPI 260, Insights Full Circle and Benchmarks 360.
For the last 8 years, Sarah has been a visiting Tutor and Platform Speaker for The Coaching Academy, Europe’s largest and most experienced coach training school. The Coaching Academy has over 30,000 coaches whom Sarah has trained in the skills of coaching, marketing and NLP.
Sarah is also one of the only Coaches in the UK to have her coaching skills regularly monitored by independent assessors on behalf of a national training body.  She co-designed and regularly delivers an in-house Executive Coaching Diploma for her clients, which is accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management to its highest level, Level 7.  This programme won “Best Coaching Programme 2008” from The Training Journal and was also nominated for a national training award in 2009.
Sarah’s passion outside of her work is horseriding and in 2007 she was able to combine her expertise in coaching and horse knowledge to win the contract to create the Learning Resources for the United Kingdom Coaching Certificate which was introduced by the British Equestrian Federation for all coaches, from parents helping out at their children’s pony club camps right up to British Team and Olympic level coaches.  This was a fantastic experience to combine both her passions.
